Research Interests
1 Radiochemistry and Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing
We are trying to developnovel extractants (BTPhen/DAPhen/BTP) for the separation of actinides from lanthanides, which is a big challenge in spent fuel reprocessing. We want to study the organic synthesis of extractants, the structural characterization of extracted complex, the coordination chemistry in solution and the radiation chemical properties of extraction system.
    2 Nuclear Chemical Engineering
We are interestedin modeling and calculating the relationship between the operating process parameters and extraction efficiency of liquid-liquid extraction equipment for nuclear chemical engineering, which based on theφ20-type annular centrifugal extractor and PS-C-200-type mixer settler. We also want to develop anexcellent extraction system with optimizedoperation parameters and process.
