Address:Tianshuinan Road 222, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou,730000, P.R. China.
Research Interests:
Dr. MENG’s research is in the field of quantum beam irradiation effects on materials, and focuses on gas behaviors in plasma-facing materials in fusion environments under energetic ion irradiation.Fundamental studied on the phenomena related to irradiation induced lattice damage and the micro-structural evolution were conducted by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM),which were supposed to results in the degradation of the material in irradiation environment. Further investigationsof possibledependencebetween the radiation damage and the mechanical property degradationare expected.
