Admission and  Recommendation of Exam-exempted Graduate Students in 2019

Lanzhou University has started the work of accepting exam-exempt graduate students (including direct doctoral students, hereinafter referred to as "exempt students")  in 2019. We warmly welcome outstanding undergraduate students who have obtained the exam-exempt qualification to study for master's degree in our university or directly study for doctor's degree (direct doctoral students).

I. Recruit Major

The major that our school provide except MBA and MPA. The major that receives direct doctoral student is which qualified to provide academic doctoral degree.

II. Enrollment Plan

Our school plans to recruit and exempt about 1200 students, including 73 direct doctoral students with academic degrees.

III. Recruitment Conditions

(1) Fresh graduates who have obtained the qualification of interview recommended by the university for undergraduate study.

(2) Being morally, intellectually and physically developed, abide by discipline and law, being honest and trustworthy, and being healthy physically and mentally.

(3) Being excellent in academic performance, honesty and trustworthiness, having strong interest in scientific research, good professional quality, strong innovation consciousness and ability, and high cultivation potential.

(4) No record of any punishment such as cheating in exams, plagiarizing academic achievements of others or violating laws and disciplines.

Candidates who apply for direct doctoral degree must be outstanding undergraduate graduates of "double first-class" construction universities with strong ability of scientific research and innovation. Their score of CET-6 is 425 or above (TOEFL or IELTS is greater than 90 or 6.0), and they should be recommended by two experts in writing.

Application for master's degree in clinical medicine should be exempted from enrollment. Undergraduate major should meet the requirements of doctor qualification examination.
