Research Interests:
Polarized helium-3 target
We employ the spin-exchange optical pumping procedure to polarize the nuclear spin of the helium-3 gas. It can be used as an effective polarized neutron target in the spin-related experiment.
Hyperfine spectrum in the nuclear experiments
Precision laser spectrum is a powerful tool to access the hyperfine structure of the atomic spectrum with the highest sensitivity. It is the ideal for the short-live radioactive isotope.
Time Projection Chamber (TPC) for the measurement of fission fragments
TPC used to be the major tracking detector in the high energy physics experiment. With the help of the high performance Front End Electronics (FEE) and data acquisition system, we build a TPC detector for the neutron induced fission measurement. It offers a great opportunity to measure the complicated phenomenon with multi observable in event level, which will shine a light on the dynamics of the large deformed fission nucleus.
